We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Project Development Manager for Solar PV and Battery Storage Projects in Sweden. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team in the development of cutting-edge renewable energy projects, with the potential to expand into wind energy initiatives.
Your Job
  • Management of the project development team for solar pv and battery storage projects in Sweden, with possibility to expand to wind
  • Overall responsibility for development of Swedish project pipeline from origination to financial close
  • Participating in land acquisition, permitting, grid design and techno-economic optimisation of the projects as required
  • Overall responsibility for development budgets, schedules, and project deliverables 
  • Developing relationships with landowners, permitting authorities, grid operators, advisors and other relevant stakeholders
  • Coordination of internal collaboration between the local development team, Nordic regional management, and colleagues at Berlin headquarters and globally

 

Your profile
  • At least five years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects in Sweden
  • Proven track record in the development of large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Expertise in securing land and grid capacity, as well as land use planning and permitting
  • Good understanding of the business model and market dynamics of renewable energy development
  • Master’s degree with technical or business focus or equivalent training
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is required
